Adobe MAX is a unique opportunity to connect with thousands of designers, developers, and business leaders as a way to shape the future of digital media.

For this years conference, AEG Digital Media was selected to provide a number of services for the live stream of the event. With a desire to reach a large number of viewers, AEG Digital Media developed three different players that were capable of live streaming the important keynote speeches. An online player that was hosted on max.adobe.com, a player viewable on mobile devices, and a P2P player.

Along with the development of specialized players, AEG Digital Media also provided:

• Encoding and distribution of the live feed from their Broadcast Operations Center
• Looping the keynote speeches for continued viewing on the website
• Segmenting keynotes into highlight clips for viewing on the website

A unique feature of the live streaming of this years conference was the integration of AEG Digital Media’s multi-platform messaging environment, The Hawk. The Hawk is the only human-administered messaging platform that combines what viewers of an event are saying on Facebook, Twitter, text messages and web submission, and aggregates them into a common, easy to use widget that can be hosted on the website along with the player. It’s designed to bring a viewing audience together and encourage participation in the event.
