AEG Digital Media helped ensure the success of this monumental event live from Madison Square Garden, directed by the visionary Terry Gilliam.

AEG Digital Media provided complete creative and technical production for this incredible event, including overseeing the 10 camera, High Definition shoot with a second camera angle for the webcast, and worked closely with the band and director Terry Gilliam to ensure their collective vision came through in the video’s look and feel.

AEG Digital Media managed the transmission of the live feed from Madison Square Garden to their Broadcast Operations Center at the L.A. LIVE complex in downtown Los Angeles, where they worked closely with the team from VEVO to ensure a successful broadcast. AEG Digital Media also worked on-site with the YouTube team to monitor the transmission from the venue.

Once the feed came into AEG Digital Media’s Broadcast Operations Center, it was encoded into multiple bitrates and monitored through the entire event. Once encoded, AEG Digital Media pushed the feed to the Akamai network for flawless delivery across the YouTube/VEVO platform.

AEG Digital Media also encoded a looped rebroadcast feed of the show that was immediately available, and worked with VEVO to edit and produce a series of clips and highlights of the event available here.
