LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–AT&T has selected AEG Digital Media, the leading provider of webcast management, production and digital media services, to provide an integrated, end-to-end solution to deliver live video online for the 2010 Masters Golf Tournament. AEG Digital Media will deliver an uninterrupted, high-definition streaming experience of over 50 hours of the 2010 Masters tournament coverage online at AT&T Fan Zone, found at http://fanzone.att.net.
This personalized and interactive online experience, with quality designed to match and complement the TV experience, will offer fans three live camera angles and additional access to live coverage of
- The Par 3 Contest, which features a live feed from this popular contest on Wednesday, April 7,
- Masters Extra, which gives AT&T viewers one hour of live play-by-play action before cable and network broadcast coverage begins,
- Amen Corner Live, which features live coverage of the 11th, 12th and 13th holes,
- And 15th/16th Live, which features live coverage of the 15th and 16th holes.
AEG Digital Media will be providing turnkey satellite downlink encoding and production services of all the action from Augusta Country Club for one of golf’s most watched tournaments, encoding 4 video feeds. All live video feeds will originate from Augusta and will be transported to AEG Digital Media’s Los Angeles Digital Broadcast Operations Center over HD satellite feeds.
The custom player will also integrate the leader board as well as golfer biographies, pairings with tee-times and a course fly-over, giving golf fans all the information they need in one window.
