LOS ANGELES (August 16, 2011) - AEG Digital Media, the leading provider of complete webcast management and media services for live streaming events and online video, has been selected to provide webcast services for the biggest announcements at gamescom 2011, the world’s largest trade fair and event for interactive games and entertainment, on Aug. 16, 2011.

AEG Digital Media will be live streaming the biggest product announcements for new gaming hardware, Tuesday, August 16 at 6 p.m. Central European Time. These live feeds will be available through the official PlayStation® App on Android and iOS, online on the official PlayStation Blog at blog.eu.playstation.com, through PlayStation’s Facebook page at facebook.com/sonyplaystation, or in PlayStation®Home on PS3.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe will be utilizing AEG Digital Media’s Tremolo Player, which will provide viewers with a high quality stream that is proven to keep the viewer’s attention for longer.

The event is a major attraction for international audiences, featuring gaming innovations from companies like Blizzard, Sega, Capcom, Microsoft, Sony, Electronic Arts, Konami and Ubisoft. Gamescom had more than 254,000 visitors from more than 33 countries attend last year. Now, thanks to AEG Digital Media’s technologies, fans from across the globe will be able to watch the announcements.
