December 12, 2011 — REELZCHANNEL-TV About Movies® and the People’s Choice Awards today announced REELZCHANNEL is the exclusive broadcast home of the Live Red Carpet Arrivals Show for PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS 2012, the first televised live red carpet show in the 38-year history of the People’s Choice Awards. SuChin Pak and Hollywood Dailies co-host Steve Patterson will host the show from outside the Nokia Theater L.A. Live on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 (8:00 pm ET/5:00 pm PT) on REELZCHANNEL, prior to the live broadcast of PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS 2012 (9:00-11:00 pm ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Simultaneous to the REELZCHANNEL broadcast, and for the second year in a row, the live red carpet show will run on www.PeoplesChoice.com, the official website for PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS 2012. Both the broadcast and the webcast will feature fan favorites in movies, music and TV and highlight the stars as they arrive on the red carpet. The digital broadcast of the live red carpet show is made possible using AEG Digital Media’s webcast and production services.

Currently an on-air correspondent for DailyCandy, SuChin Pak has co-hosted pre-shows for the MTV Video Music Awards, the Movie Awards and Grammys. Pak joined the MTV News Team as a correspondent in May of 2001 and delivered daily news for Total Request Live. She’s also been on red carpets for the Oscars®, Golden Globes and the Sundance Film Festival. Pak is also host and co-producer of My Life Translated, a documentary series following the lives of young people who struggle with immigrant identity in America. In addition to her role as co-host for the red carpet show, SuChin will also appear as a backstage correspondent during the live PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS 2012 broadcast.

Steve Patterson is co-host of Hollywood Dailies on REELZ where viewers are immersed in the world of movies and celebrities in a fast-paced show filled with entertainment reporting and information about all things Hollywood. Patterson has also hosted a variety of REELZ red carpet and event coverage, including the Primetime Emmy Awards®, Creative Arts Emmy® Awards, ComicCon and the Sundance Film Festival.
