For the second consecutive year, AEG Digital Media has been selected to provide live streaming and encoding services for the keynote addresses at the Adobe MAX 2011 Conference, Oct. 1-5, 2011.
Adobe’s annual global conference for designers, developers, and business leaders is held at the Los Angeles Convention Center and AEGDM’s Nokia Theatre L.A. Live Facility. The live stream will be available at max.adobe.com beginning Monday, Oct. 3, 2011.
Ben Rolling, Vice President of Development for AEGDM, will also be a featured speaker at the event. He will be joining with MTV’s Rob Roskin in a session titled, “MTV Networks: Behind the Scenes of World-Class Broadcast Events.”
AEGDM will be utilizing a few of Adobe’s newer technologies to stream the event including a web video player using Adobe’s HTTP Dynamic Streaming with Flash Media Server 4.5, an HTML5 player using the Flash Media Server 4.5 for iOS and Safari, a Flash player for Android users and a peer-to-peer video player using Real Time Media Flow Protocol (RTMFP).
